Nagami Arts: Creation Itself Is Art

*****By commissioning Nagami Arts LLC, you agree to the below terms and conditions.*****

OFFICE HOURS ARE MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY 10 AM – 8 PM. ALL CORRESPONDENCE WILL BE DONE DURING THIS TIME FRAME.

PAYMENT

• Full payment is required up front for anything under $300. Anything over $300 requires at least a 35% down payment before work will begin. The commissioner then has 30 days to pay the rest. Payment plans are available but it will have to have been discussed during the consultation prior to approval of the commission. 

• Payments are processed via PayPal or Credit/Debit through the website (www.nagamiarts.com). An invoice will be sent once the commission is accepted. EChecks are automatically declined and the commission canceled. 

• Any shipping charges are not included in the price of the commission and will differ depending on the location of the commissioner. Shipping costs are also expected at the time of final payment for payment plans. 

• Shipping must be paid at the time of commission unless other arrangements have been agreed upon.

•  ANYTHING RUSHED IS DOUBLE THE PRICE AND REQUIRES FULL PAYMENT UP FRONT. NO EXCEPTIONS.

• WORK TRANSFERS: (Wanting to transfer payment of one item to another) If the commissioner has purchased something from Nagami Arts LLC and the work has not started, the commissioner is free to transfer the payment of that object/work to something else that they would like Nagami Arts LLC to work on. If the work has been started however, this can still be done minus the amount of work that has already gone into the commission. 

Personal Use vs. Copyright

• If Nagami Arts LLC retains the rights to the images drawn (not the characters, just the image/s), they will be displayed as part of Nagami Arts LLC’s portfolio and royalties (discussed at time of commission) are to be paid per use.

• If the commissioner would like to arrange to purchase the rights to use the work commercially, feel free to discuss it with Nagami Arts LLC. (This will be included in the price.)

WIPs/REWORKS

• The commissioner will receive WIPs (Work In Progress) of the design/commission during the process. The commissioner will be allowed 3 revisions. Any revisions after that will result in an additional fee. 

• The commissioner is welcome to leave the image/design in Nagami Arts LLC’s hands for the surprise factor. This will usually yield better results for the commission.

• Completed images/designs will NOT be reworked.

TIMEFRAME

• I try to get most commissions done within a week to a month, but if there are any discrepancies in regards to the due date or if it cannot be met, the commissioner will be informed and payment terms can be re-discussed.

ADDITIONAL COMMISSION INFORMATION

• Feel free to provide me with as many references as you wish for your commission. The more information you give me the more accurate I can be with the image.

• All commissions come with a free 30 minute – 1 hour consultation. Just to confirm whether or not Nagami Arts LLC is a good fit for you (the commissioner) and your (the commissioner) needs.

• Descriptions are fine as well; keep the information clear, concise, and simple. In long, excessive essays, information is easily lost or misunderstood.

• Feel free to suggest images from Google that are not copyrighted to help Nagami Arts LLC understand. There is a space in the commission form specifically for describing things and references.

• When the commissioned piece is finished, the commissioner will receive a 600 dpi file of the image commissioned or the specific commissioned item. A printed image will not be sent out unless previously agreed upon. 

• Please do not request Nagami Arts LLC to copy another artist’s style. This is disrespectful to the company as well as the artist you’re requesting be copied. This will result in refusal of commission.

• Clairvoyance is not a gift possessed by Nagami Arts LLC, so please make sure the information provided is as accurate as possible. If any adjustments need to be made remember there are 3 allotted revisions available. Please make sure you take advantage of this. We want to make sure we are on the same page at all times and you are satisfied with your commission.

REFUNDS/RETURNS

• If a commission is canceled by either party, the money will be refunded minus the amount for the work that has already been completed.

• WIPs are available upon request and if there is any problem, please inform Nagami Arts LLC before completion. If the commissioner has not received WIPs and there is an error in the final commission, the commissioner may request reworking to resolve the issue satisfactorily.
